CSCD is a forerunner in minimally-invasive aesthetic procedures that are designed to deliver the results you want without the pain, worry and downtime of conventional surgeries. Some of these highly innovative and sought after procedures are outlined below.
Get a more natural and less surgical appearance with this alternative to the conventional facelift.
Also known as Tumescent Liposuction of the Chin, Cheek, and Jowls with Platysma Muscle Plication, the Mini-NeckLift corrects sagging in the lower part of the face by targeting loss of skin elasticity along with subcutaneous fat in the submental chin and jowl.
This procedure is particularly appealing to patients due to the fact that there is very minimal downtime, fewer risks of disfiguring scars, elimination of dangers with systemic anesthesia, and because it more easily fits into one’s budget and/or schedule.

Dr. Malouf developed the SafeLift, a revolutionary procedure that combines a mini-face lift with laser treatment. The SafeLift is a minimally-invasive cosmetic procedure that lifts and tightens loose skin on the mid-to-lower-face and minimizes the appearance of nasolabial folds.
This procedure is performed in-office with local anesthesia, making it painless with minimal bleeding and very little bruising and swelling. Oral pre-medication is generally recommended to help relax the patient.
Unlike other “mini-lifts,” the SafeLift is a real facelift in that it involves tightening the connective tissue layer beneath the skin called the superficial musculoaponeurotic system, or SMAS, making the results longer lasting.
The SafeLift can erase up to ten years or more from the patient’s appearance, with little associated downtime.

For removing unwanted fat, the center offers tumescent liposuction, a dermatologist-developed technique that is safer and more controlled than traditional liposuction.
This breakthrough technique refers to filling the skin with local anesthetic in order to remove unwanted fat more efficiently. The tumescent method enables the dermatologic surgeon to remove large amounts of fat more uniformly with fewer skin irregularities and less bleeding and bruising.
The local anesthesia injected into the tissue remains for 18 to 24 hours following liposuction surgery, greatly minimizing post-operative pain. After tumescent liposuction, patients are usually alert and able to function without nausea, grogginess and the “washed out” feeling associated with general anesthesia.
You can usually return to a desk-type job within 48 hours; physical exercise generally can be resumed three to seven days after liposuction.

Spider veins are small purple, blue or red veins that can form anywhere on the leg, from the top of the thigh to the ankle, and can sometimes occur on the face as well. These veins appear as connected lines resembling a sunburst or spider web pattern or as short, unconnected lines.
Varicose veins are larger, sometimes raised veins which are often blue in color. These are not the deep veins connected with the valve system; however, they can become quite painful, producing a burning or throbbing sensation. Although these superficial varicose veins and spider veins carry blood, neither is necessary to the circulatory system.
Today, because of modern technology, both spider veins and superficial varicose veins can be treated through a procedure called sclerotherapy. Sclerotherapy is a technique which involves the use of a very fine needle to inject a solution directly into the veins. The solution causes the blood within the vein to disappear or become less obvious. Each vein may require several injections and most disappear in two weeks to two months.
Patients are usually advised to resume normal activity immediately, although vigorous activity is discouraged for hours.

Loose, saggy, redundant skin of the lids and puffy eyes are among the most common complaints heard from patients who are starting to notice the signs of aging.
Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that can restore a youthful appearance to the eye area. The upper and lower eyelids are lifted and loose or excess skin and fat tissue is removed. The procedure is limited to the eyes and can be combined with other methods to improve other areas of the face.
Dr. Malouf and his team perform this procedure in the office surgical suite under local anesthesia. Incisions are made in the natural crease of the eyelid, which results in minimal scarring, excess skin and fat pads are then removed and the incisions are sutured. The procedure takes about two hours and is done on an out-patient basis.
The post-operative effects are minimal and temporary, with most patients able to perform light duties within a couple of days.
